We are 1 mile from Yellowstone National Park, in fact, West Yellowstone is the closest town to any Yellowstone National Park entrance. You can drive to the West Entrance in less than 5 mintues!
Did you know West Yellowstone has its own local airport? Yellowstone Airport (WYS) has seasonal flights that bring you directly to the majestic Yellowstone Park area without the hassle of a long drive! Visit Yellowstone Airport for more details or to book flights Delta Airlines. Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) is located just outside Bozeman, MT and is approximately an hour and a half drive through beautiful Gallatin National Forest and even a portion of Yellowstone Park! Remember most of this drive has no cell-service so plan accordingly.
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you book a home. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway providers database. After a transaction, your private information will not be stored on our servers.
Each rental home is supplied with; paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher soap, dish soap, hand soap, sponges, tissues, salt, pepper, re-usable coffee basket, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion in starter amounts. Additional supplies can be purchased at several local businesses. In addition, each home will be stocked with linens, towels and all bed and kitchen linens.
Arrowhead Properties does not charge managerial/administrative or credit card payment fees. The only fee we will charge in addition to your nightly booking cost and taxes is the cleaning fee for the unit. This fee is taxable in our area. 3rd party booking sites such as VRBO/HomeAway and others charge booking fees outside of what we require. AVOID FEES, BOOK DIRECT HERE!
We require 50% of your total rental cost to be paid at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be automatically collected 14 days prior to your arrival using the card used to book the reservation. You can change the payment method for the remaining balance due anytime before it is collected by contacting your Property Manager.
Cancellations received 14 days prior to your arrival date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations received 7 - 14 days prior to your arrival date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received less than 7 days before your scheduled arrival date are not eligible for refunds. No refunds will be given for early departure. VRBO/HomeAway, Expedia Group sites, or other 3rd party booking sites may charge booking or administrative fees that are non-refundable, please refer booking fee questions to the 3rd party used to book your reservation.
Check in time is 3PM Mountain Standard Time. You may let yourself into your rental anytime after 3PM on your arrival day.We have a streamlined check-in process where guests let themselves into their vacation rental with a secure individualized door code alleviating the need for a check-in desk. You will have your unit number and door code as soon as you finalize your booking.
Arrowhead Properties has the benefit of an on-site Property Manager. While they don't work 24 hours a day, they are available to assist you at almost any hour. If the Property Manager is unavailable for some reason, the Owners are happy to assist as well.
Pets are currently not permitted except in Units 1 and 2 on a case by case approval basis. Contact the property manager to discuss pet options for those units. Unauthorized pets in Unit 1 or 2 or evidence of pets occupying Units 3, 4, or 5 will incur a cleaning fee of $800.
YES! We are happy to receive packages and put them in your condo on the day of your arrival. Please do not ship us perishables. When shipping, send items with the name the reservation is in i.e. SARAH BARNES in c/o Arrowhead Properties to 305 Hayden St West Yellowstone MT 59758.
What time do they let the animals out?
|Hehehe... YES this is a question we actually get. The animals in Yellowstone Park and the surrounding areas are wild animals and roam freely where they please. While optimal viewing is considered by some to be early morining or evening, you're likely to see animals no matter where you are in the park or what time you are there. Don't forget you can see many of Yellowstone's famous animals up-close at the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center right near the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park on Canyon Street in West Yellowstone!||

All the animals in Yellowstone National Park are wild and potentially dangerous. While they may seem cute and cuddly, all wildlife can harm you and will if they feel threatened. Learn and follow the guidelines set out by the local authorities and the park service. Do not approach animals or exit your vehicle to better see animals near the roadways. Consider binoculars to enjoy close-up views, they are available to rent at The Yellowstone Camera Store on Canyon Street in downtown West Yellowstone.
If you are considering renting or purchasing bear-spray for your trip we highly recommend that you research proper use techniques. The National Park Service has put out several instructive videos on this subject and their website also offers a multitude of other important items. You can purchase bear spray at local grocery stores and other locations in town as well as rent it in Canyon Village inside Yellowstone National Park. It is not permissible to fly with bear spray.
